There are seven different ways to fund a project through your Renovation Trust account. Depending on which method you choose, certain limitations may apply. These limits are set by banks and other financial institutions.

Bill Payments

You can transfer up to $50,000 in a single transaction but have an unlimited number of transfers. This is the easiest way to fund a project or deposit money into your Renovation Trust account.

Interac E-Transfer

You can transfer up to $3,000 in a 24-hour period and $10,000 in a 7-day period. This payment method is recommended for small projects.

CIBC Branch Near You

Deposit your project funds into your Renovation Trust account at any CIBC branch location in Canada. If you would like to deposit cash into your account, you can only do so at a CIBC branch. You do not need to be banking with CIBC to make a deposit into your Renovation Trust account.

Cheque

You can mail a cheque or make an appointment to drop off a cheque to us at our office. Please contact us to make an appointment. We do not accept cash on-site.

Credit Cards

Transfer up to $5,000 on a single project.

Wire Transfer

There is no limit for a wire transfer but additional fees will apply.

Your Renovation Trust Account

If you already have money deposited into your Renovation Trust account, you can use that money to fund a project.
